FILOSOFI PEDANG LUWUK :
Pedang Luwuk adalah pedang pendek dari pulau Jawa.
Pedang ini ditemukan terutama di jawa timur dan jawa tengah.
Konon pedang ini dinamakan Pedang Luwuk,karena dibuat oleh seorang Empu yang bernama Ki Luwuk. Pedang ini dipercayai mempunyai daya magis karena dibuat dengan ritual khusus.
Pedang ini telah ada dari masa Majapahit,pedang luwuk tercatat sebagai salah satu senjata mematikan dalam perang paregreg.
Pedang luwuk hanya boleh digunakan oleh kalangan bangsawan atau ksatria di Jawa waktu itu.
A luwuk is a type of short sword from the island of Java. This sword is found mostly in East Java and Central Java. It is said that this sword was named Luwuk because it was created by an Empu (Indonesian Bladesmith) named Ki Luwuk. This sword was believed to have magic power because it was made with a special ritual, and has existed since the Majapahit era. The Luwuk is listed as one of the deadliest weapons from the Paregreg war. During that era, only those in the nobility or in the warrior class were permitted to use a luwuk.
FILOSOFI PANCA WARNA
Pamor pancawarna dari gambaran pamor yang menghiasi bilah ini sebenarnya bisa didapat 5 macam pamor yaitu :
1. BATU LAPAK
Bentuknya menyerupai pusaran yang melingkar-lingkar,biasanya lebih dari lima.
Letaknya di sor-soran tengah.
Tuahnya “Singkir Baya”. Baik untuk anggota Militer ataupun orang biasa.
Berkhasiat bagi yang mempelajari kekebalan,bela diri.
2. LAR GANGSIR
Mempunyai khasiat Insya Alloh untuk membangkitkan kharisma kewibawaan tingkat tinggi,dimudahkan dalam mengatur anak buah/bawahan,mudah mengambil simpati atasan,kemudahan meraih jabatan,dimudahkan dan dilancarkan dalam usaha,membuka pintu rejeki agar mengalir deras.
Lar means wings and Gangsir cricket is the pamor a keris and quite rare, since it is no longer made by the Empu. This is probably because the image is very difficult to do. The pamor is in demand and expensive.
3. ADEG
Pamor Adeg banyak dijumpai,tergolong pamor pemilih tetapi lebih banyak yang cocok daripada tidak.
Tuahnya terutama sebagai penolak,ada yang menolak guna guna,ada yang menolak wabah,angin ribut,banjir dan lainnya.
Ada yang hanya menolak satu sifat ada yang beberapa sifat penolakan.
Adeg is the common name for a Dapur with a straight line which must not be interrupted.It belongs to the rare pamor motives and has a strong magic to sweep away disaster (i.e. natural disasters like fire, storm, flood, as well as bad luck and misfortune due to paranormal circumstances).
4. SATRIO PINAYUNGAN
Ada dua macam pamor Satriya Pinayungan:
Yang pertama pamor pada bagian sor-soran,apa saja bentuknya,lalu diatas pamor itu (dekat ujung bilah) terdapat pamor Kudhung.
Yang kedua,motif pada sor-soran menyerupai Udan Mas tapi bentuknya teratur.Tiga bulatan mendatar diteruskan beberapa bulatan keatas.
Tuahnya sama,memberi perlindungan bagi pemiliknya dari perbuatan sirik orang lain.Walau keduanya tidak pemilih tetapi pamor yang pertama lebih cocok untuk mereka yang bekerja di pemerintahan sedangkan yang kedua untuk wiraswasta.
Untuk yang pertama dianut oleh penggemar keris dari Solo ketimur,sedang kedua oleh penggemar dari Yogya ke barat,mana yang benar tetapi pendapat keduanya diterima oleh sebagian besar penggemar keris.
There are two kinds of pamor Satrya Pinayungan. The first form is a combination of two pamor motifs. At the tip of the blade there is pamor Kudhung and on the other pamor Beras Wutah, Tunggak Semi or another pamor motif. The second form of pamor Satrya Pinayungan is made of some parts of Udan Mas bullets at one side of the blade. The bullets are in that kind that 3 bullets are horizontal and more than 4 bullets are in one row with the length of the blade. The motif looks like pamor Musli (a small pamor motif).
The magic strength of these two pamor motifs is the same and gives the owner protection against jealousy and forbidden actions of other people. The owner has always “wind in his sails”. Both pamor motifs are well-known but the first is for employees and the second for businessmen. The first idea is from keris experts from the area in the east of Surakarta and the second idea from keris experts in the west of Yogyakarta. They mean the pamor motifs are for everyone.
5. WIJI TIMUN
Menyerupai biji ketimun. Hampir sama dengan pamor Uler Lulut tetapi lebih kecil dan lonjong. Tuahnya juga untuk mencari jalan rejeki.
Ada sedikit unsur kewibawaan,Baik untuk pedagang maupun untuk pengusaha.
Pamor Biji Timun (Cucumber Seed) is like pamor Uler Lulut but the motifs are smaller and more oval. The image is like a row of cucumber cores in the middle of the blade.
The magical strength of pamor Biji Timun has a positive influence to the owner. There are some elements of authority. The owner can make well progress and it is good for some abilities. Entrepreneurs love this pamor motif.
